Flu Vaccine
H1N1 VACCINE (Update as of 1/8/10):
Core is currently offering H1N1 vaccine to all children (over 6 months of age) and adult patients in our practices by appointment, or as part of a scheduled visit. We do not plan on having any further “Core-wide” vaccine clinics. While it is true that the incidence of H1N1 related illness has decreased in recent weeks, it has not gone away, and a third wave is certainly possible. We recommend vaccination for all children and adults at risk. Children under 10 who have received only one vaccine should receive a second 30 days or more after the first.

SEASONAL FLU VACCINE (Update as of 1/8//10):
We also have seasonal flu vaccine in most of our offices, and will be getting more. We recommend this to all adults over 65, and anyone else at risk. This is separate from the H1N1 vaccine, and is also strongly recommended. Please check with your PCP’s office for availability.
