He never rushes, listens to me and explains things very thoroughly.

Dr. Keenan is friendly, professional, patient, and thorough. He always rakes the time to explain his diagnoses ( even to the extent of drawing diagrams). He is passionate about his work and is forever researching and discovering new information and procedures. I have been his patient for 9 years and cannot imagine having anyone else as my PCP.

I would like to share an experience at the practice itself. While I was in the waiting room before my appointment, a man came in to deliver food. The front desk staff redirected him to the correct floor. After he left, one of the staff said, "He didn't even speak English. Learn English--you're in the United States!" and they all laughed. I was taken aback at these discriminatory comments, and I can't help but wonder how they would treat patients whose first language is not English. These types of comments are ignorant and offensive. I hope that you will consider doing some training or staff development around cultural awareness.
