Sadly this visit and our last one seemed more like a 'social visit' with little actual medical care. A few questions but nothing in depth and no offer to assist with ongoing cognitive issues experienced by the patient. This provider seems very inexperienced with the elderly and cognitively impaired and lacks the savvy and wisdom to ask appropriate questions and delve deeper than simply asking "How are you feeling." Also a VERY poor communicator, along with others in the office. Standard information, like the need for lab work, was not passed along to the patient or the patient's caregiver, despite us asking. Had to find out during the visit that they ordered lab work 6 weeks ago but no one told us. The poor communication all around ends up making the in person visit useless when the provider has no labs to refer to. Sadly the standard of care seems subpar.
