Dr. Woodward listens and relates!

I'm not sure the doctor has enough experience with / understanding of post-menopausal care. My family history includes a grandmother who was sent away from her doctor with the advice, "you're old, pain is normal." The pain turned out to be cancer in the bowels, which could have been treated if someone had paid attention sooner...but led to a long and painful death. Long story short, I'm worried of that scenario playing out again, and don't have 100% confidence that the pain (of several months) I reported on this visit is "nothing but a pulled muscle." Patients have a knowledge of their own bodies-of what is normal and what is abnormal-which doctors need to acknowledge and respect.

She did not examine [NAME] except with stethoscope w o taking off his hoodie. She was cold emotionally.

Easy to talk to; makes you feel very comfortable while taking the necessary time to answer all of my questions.

She is AWESOME ?

I am extremely thankful and pleased with Dr. Woodward's broad support to my efforts to remain healthy. She has taken the time to get to know me as a person, and I believe that greatly aids her decision-making.

Loved that Dr Woodward sent blood test orders prior to my visit so we could discuss the results at my appointment. She was great checking to make I was up to date with all vaccines and annual tests for my age.

Very prepared, very knowledgeable, very easy to talk to, spends enough time and listens to you.

Dr. Woodward was punctual, very thorough, listened carefully, explained everything and has a charming bedside manner.

I'm still waiting for my mammogram appointment for a follow-up in regards to the problem I went for....
