Oliver Salmon, DO

Dr. Oliver Salmon is a board certified pediatrician in Epping, NH and accepting new patients.

“I chose pediatrics because I knew that I wanted to work with children.  I get to work with the full spectrum of primary care pediatrics, from newborns through adolescence, and it is extremely rewarding to work with people at times in their life when we can be so focused on everyone growing and developing into their best possible selves.  My 2 daughters and many patients have taught me so much and I sincerely look forward to meeting your child and working with your family.”

The drs are good but the billing department doesn't know anything and can't help you with your questions, refers you to the drs office(????). Which is a little ridiculous since the receptionists at the office know even less about how insurances work and refer me back to billing.

We had never seen this doctor before and he took the time to read up on her history before entering the room, and listened patiently to both my child and myself. I was very impressed and grateful.

Phone call way too long to speak reparative. Call twice and waited 30 minutes plus to speak to someone.

Dr, salmon was absolutely amazing. It was the first time for him meeting my son, and he knew his background he connected with my son in such a natural way. My son loved him and even got a shot!

Kind. Gentle.

For a first visit he was very thorough. He listened to not only me but my son who felt very involved in his own care.

He was kind and took his time with us.

This was our first visit and Dr. Salmon spoke to my child and explained things in a child-centered way. He was thorough, had obviously reviewed his file and answered all out questions. I was very impressed and left feeling that we're in great hands.

Not for young children. Asked my child what he was asking Santa for for Christmas and after my son gave him a lengthy explanation, Dr Salmon said, "Well I hope he brings you your six-foot robot... or whatever it is" in a very dismissive and preoccupied tone. Also told us that my son is "a little heavy for his height" - my son is 7 years old, 3'9" and just got over 50 lbs, he is in no way overweight. Thank goodness my son isn't one to pick up on comments like that, but it could have been very hurtful to another child if they were older and/or heard it. Dr. Salmon may have better bedside manner with older children, or infants, who knows, but it was not a positive experience for us.
