About Dr. Tang

Dr. Rong Tang is a breast surgeon in Exeter, NH. Dr. Tang was trained in General Surgery in China and OB/GYN Surgery in the United States. She has a clinical interest in Breast Surgery.

Dr. Tang has always had a passion for women's healthcare. After graduating from medical school, she first trained in plastic surgery and completed her surgical residency in China. She later moved to the United States to pursue more in-depth and impactful women’s care. She completed her OB/GYN residency at Rochester General Hospital and a breast surgery fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she also conducted extensive breast cancer research.

Her areas of clinical expertise include nipple-sparing mastectomies, skin-sparing mastectomies, lumpectomy margins, benign breast disease management, and the use of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery protocols that decrease post-operative pain and recovery time. She has a special interest in utilizing plastic surgery techniques to improve cosmetic outcomes while achieving optimal oncologic goals. In addition to breast surgery, Dr. Tang is also passionate about providing gynecologic and obstetric care for breast cancer survivors.
