He is knowledgeable, cordial, and patient. This also goes for his assisting nurse, whose name, unfortunately, I don't remember.

Professional, thorough and thoughtful. My PCP referred me to him because I needed clearance to be able to donate blood stem cells through the National Marrow Donor Program. Nurse Sue was very professional, skilled and efficient. My only frustration was the front desk staff did not understand that the visit was to be charged to the program not my own health insurance. My work up coordinator had faxed the appropriate documents and I even gave an additional copy to the front desk explaining this. I verbally requested this be followed when I checked in and again when I checked out. I received a phone message a few hours later from Cheryl. Stating " I couldn't use the program because NMDP isn't insurance so I just billed your own (Anthem) because I figured you didn't want to be billed." This was incorrect- I would have rather been billed directly!! She didn't leave her number but directed me to contact Core Billing Office. I did and left a voice message which was returned stating no one had been billed yet so not to worry. I also emailed CBO with details and the forms but I have not heard back yet. This only happened 2/8 and today is Sunday 2/11 so I will continue to follow up next week.

I needed to get a copy of a document from my visit to another Dr. In Connecticut , the next day and the Dr. E. Podrasky Core Pys office faxed it over immediately. I was very impressed and grateful ?

Made me feel comfortable about my condition nd explained the steps going forward. Not knowing what was happening had me very nervous and he helped alleviate those concerns

He was very knowledgeable and explained my heart issues clearly so I could understand, all while looking together at my echocardiogram on the screen. Moreover, he was kind, positive, and answered my questions clearly. He didn't rush the visit yet was very efficient with time. I am very pleased my oncologist is working with him and was able to get me an appointment with Dr. Podrasky without a long wait.
