The provider did the job, but there has to be a more efficient method to getting much needed surgery. It's not life threatening but it has been a horrible experience waiting in excruciating pain for surgery. Trying not to get through the pain with minimal pain (oxy) medication has not been easy at all. Why couldn't I have been seen on Friday when the happened? I understand it was Labor Day weekend but as a patient I did not feel my suffering has been a priority. If I had been in a car accident and needed surgery I would have been able to get it quickly I'm sure, so why has this taken so long causing me such pain and trauma. I have been suffering with a badly broken wrist for 7 days!!!
